Association of Condominium managers of ontario
From 2017 - 2022 Michael served the condominium management community in Ontario on the Membership Committee and various ad-hoc working groups. He has also spoken at numerous ACMO events, and contributed articles to ACMO industry publications.
Canadian Condominium Institute
Over the past 5 years Michael has served the CCI Eastern-Ontario Chapter as a conference speaker and instructor at industry education events.
National Apartment association
Member - Education Advisory Board
Michael served for a year on the NAA’s Education Advisory Board. Together with senior members of the industry, they developed conference content, reviewed proposals, and provided advisory services to the NAA from an industry expert’s point of view.
City of Oshawa/UOIT/Durham College town and gown committee
Michael served 2 years as the Landlord Representative on the Town and Gown Committee. He worked with representatives from the City of Oshawa, UOIT, Durham College, Trent University, Durham Regional Police, Fire Services, and neighbourhood associations in order to share information and represent the interests of Oshawa student housing operators.
